Hello RS700 Sailor

The RS Class Association Secretaries Heather, Sally, Joanne and Clare all wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year of smashing RS700 sailing!

Just to keep you updated:

1. RS700 Rule Change Vote: All International and UK RS700 Class Association Members are being asked to vote whether they would like to adopt the proposed adjustment to the equalisation method rules. A "yes" vote is a vote to implement the proposed changes to the equalisation method rules. So it is "yes" for change. A "no" vote is a vote to keep the current equalisation method rules and make no change. So it is "no" for no change. RS700 Class Association members need to email me Clare Sargent their decision stating "yes" or "no" by Monday 18 January 2016 to [email protected] Find three documents you need to read in the documents library under "other documents" at: http://uk.rs700.org/index.asp?selection=Documents&Fleet=RS700

2. RS700 t-shirts: James Bond special edition RS700 t-shirts order window extended until 11 Jan 16. The orders will then be put through to the screen printer and despatched to you on printing. Buy from the shop: http://uk.rs800.org/index.asp?Fleet=RS800&Selection=Shop Just £17 for short sleeve and £19.50 for long sleeve t-shirt.

3. RS700 Calendar: 2016 RS700 calendar here at: http://www.rssailing.org/docs/RS700%202016%20calendar%20as%20at%208%20Dec%2015.pdf   Make sure you book the Nationals and Garda dates into your calendar straight away if you haven't already! Don't forget that the GJW Direct SailJuice Winter Series is a great way to keep up your RS800 boat handling. All the information is here: http://GJW.SailRacer.org

I'm really looking forward to supporting the RS700 Class Association in 2016. Thank you for being such fun to work with in 2015. Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any ideas on how I can better work for you all.

Happy RS700 sailing!
