Eastbourne Sovereign SC look forward to welcoming you to Eastbourne and its super waters for your 2025 RS700 and RS800 Noble Marine National Championship!

The Racing

Registration: Wed 10 Sept 1500-1800, Thurs 11 Sept 0900-1100, Sat 13 Sept for weekend entries only 0830-0930, upstairs in the clubhouse

Briefing:  Thurs 11 Sept 2025 at 1100 

Racing:  Ten races are scheduled

Thurs 11 Sept Start 1300 Races 1 to 2 back to back
Fri 12 Sept Start 1200 Races 3 to 5 back to back
Sat 13 Sept Start 1200 Races 6 to 8 back to back
Sun 14 Sept  Start 1100 Races 9 to10 back to back

Online entry will close at 0001 on Mon 8 Sept.  Paper entry will be available at registration but will be subject to £10 late fee for full event and £5 late fee for weekend.  No entries will be accepted after 0930 on Sat 13 Sept.

Youth is aged 22 or under at the start of the championship.  RS800 youth entry requires helm to be youth.

Spinlock 1999 entry is open to old-style deck RS800s with a sail number below 1118.

Social Plan

Outline plan: famous/infamous ESSC quiz night, Stick Darling guest speaker night, disco party night

Food

ESSC are pleased to be able to offer you a meal deal - add detail from ESSC when receive

Special dietary requirements must be given to [email protected] so Vicky and her galley can be informed in advance

Breakfast and lunch will be available daily

The bar will be open daily

AGM

Your RS700 AGM will be held on Thurs 11 Sept at 1730 in the clubhouse.  See here for info

Your RS800 AGM will be held on Fri 12 Sept at 1730 in the clubhouse.  See here for info

Camping in the Club Compound

There is space for 5 campervans and 6 tents in the club compound.  Camping is off grid with access to the club toilets.  Cost is £25 per night for campervans and £15 per night for tents.  Please book directly with Andrew Hunt on 07715922957 or [email protected]  Allocation of pitches will be on a first come first served basis.  Payment to be made on booking.

Refund policy:
If you cancel your entry before the early entry deadline we will refund all fees, minus a £15 admin fee. If you cancel after the early entry deadline, but before online entry closes our standard policy is to return 50% of fees. Where an event entry limit has been reached a refund will only be issued if another boat from the waiting list takes your place. If you cancel after entry closes we will not usually issue a refund.
