Race briefing: Sat 1030hrs
First race warning signal Sat: 1205hrs (RS700s are third start, after D-Ones and Cherubs)
First race warning signal Sun: 1105hrs (RS700s are third start, after D-Ones and Cherubs)
Food and drink is available throughout the weekend from the Club caterers.
You can drive your car up the ramp to unload boat and kit but you must return immediately to the bottom car park or you risk disqualification.
Invasive species: Unfortunately QMSC has invasive species within the reservoir and so is obliged to comply with Environment Agency guidelines to slow down the spread of the Quagga mussel. All boats therefore need to be washed before arriving at the club (this is the responsibility of the boat owner) and the facilities to spray boats are available after sailing before leaving. Further details are available within this link: http://www.queenmary.org.uk/environment-agency-warning.aspx
Find all the information on your RS700 event page: http://uk.rs700.org/index.asp?selection=Events&uid=1044&fleet=RS700&detailevent=1
Please select the Intend to Race button at the bottom of the event page so your friends know that you are coming! That should encourage them to join in and will be reassuring for QMSC too!
Happy RS700 sailing!
Cheers
Clare
