If you were there you may well have agreed to do something - I have put your name in the right hand action column for easy reference. I look forward to hearing where you've got to with your task...
If you were unable to attend the Nationals please take a good look anyway because the class has really got it self together and is working hard to move to greater fleet strength for 2015. It would be great if you could get involved and share the buzz...

I've sent a hand written thank you to the staff at Plymouth Youth Sailing and the Mount Batten Centre who looked after us so well at the Nationals. They were delighted to host such a smashing fleet! Thanks guys for making it such fun for me too!
Now immediately you need to clear your calendar for the next RS700 Open Meeting at Starcross YC on Sat 4 Oct. All the details can be found here.

This will be the closing event of the RS700 2014 calendar and it would be great if as many of you as possible could gather together to keep up the amazing camaraderie built up at Plymouth.
I'm just going through sorting the last bits for the exciting 2015 calendar. Amendments made in accordance with your AGM discussions: three opens, Europeans, Nationals and Inlands. The official calendar will be published asap. In the meantime here is a sneak preview:
3-6 Apr French Skiff Open
25-26 Apr Stokes Bay SC Open (open number one)
23-27 May YC Carnac for Europeans (RS100s already booking their accommodation!)
20-21 Jun Parkstone YC for Southerns (open number two)
18-19 Jul Lymington Regatta (open number three)
20-23 Aug Castle Cove SC for Nationals
3-4 Oct QMSC for Inlands.
Potentially there may be room for a HISC event: I'm awaiting an answer.
Additionally a training weekend is being organised for 9-10 May at QMSC. This would be an ideal introduction to the travelling fleet for those who usually just sail at their clubs.
Once I've got this calendar formally published this autumn I will be turning my thoughts to 2016. Please contact me with ideas for events and venues, especially somewhere for your Nationals.
