GUL RS Nationals Day 8
There was no sailing on Tuesday at the RS400, RS700 and RS800 Nationals
at Mounts Bay. The wind tempted all day with periods of only 20kts, but
then slammed into sustained gusts of 30-35 kts.
Landyachting, power-kiting, beach windsurfing and, for the particularly
athletic, boules on the beach took over during a long postponement.
Finally racing was cancelled at 5.00pm in time for everyone to enjoy the
trip to St Michael's Mount to the full, and three races are scheduled for
11.00am on Wednesday.
