RS Sprint Championships and RS Autumn Ball

GUL Sprint Championships - a fun, new Championship for the RS fleets. All fleets will sail separately, in flights of 10 boats, with exciting & highly visible racing, along with a scoring system which is easy to follow. The format will consists of a series of Qualifying races, culminating in a finals series where everyone who has qualified for the main final can win first prizes. Everyone will get a sail, there will be several races of approx. 15 minutes duration. This is something very different, excellent racing and spectating, and great prizes courtesy of Gul International. - 4th November 2007 - Racing will start at 11.00hrs with the grand final at 15.00hrs. - The GUL Sprint Champs will cost �12/boat for double handers, �9/boat for single-handers in advance, and will double for entries received after 14th October. - For an entry form please contact either Charlotte or Heather at the RS Association office. RS Racing Autumn Ball (sponsored by GUL and Fat Face) This will be held 3 miles from Rutland SC at the Barnsdale Lodge, a beautiful 18th century privately owned hotel. There will be the normal revelry of band, disco, 4 course dinner, bar extension, and maybe even a few seasonal fireworks ... Dress will be black tie. Fat Face have promised to provide a complimentary free drink to all on arrival, plus lots of goodie hand-outs throughout the evening and entry into a prize draw. There is lovely, plush accommodation at the Barnsdale Lodge from �40/person., and dormitories at Rutland SC from �11/person, and lots in between. See the RS website under events for more details.
