RS700 National Championships 2010 - 2-5 September, Hunstanton SC
The sailing club is conveniently located on the sea front in Hunstanton overlooking the Wash in a westerly direction giving some spectacular sunsets. The sailing backdrop of the famous striped cliffs is spectacular and if lucky with the wind direction you can listen to the bandstand whilst on the race course! The sailing is good too!! Oh and yes so is the water with the ‘blue flag’ award.
HSC has a long history of welcoming travelling dinghy sailors and can offer some fantastic sailing conditions. The club house looks directly over the race area making a great spectator location and only a short sail to the race area. We pride our selves on being a friendly, relaxed and of course fun sailing club.
The club has recently undergone a winter ‘facelift’ and is looking great including fantastic new showers and also importantly draft cider on tap in the bar area!
As well as a fantastic sailing venue HSC is also a busy club for windsurfing, kitesurfing and Kayaking, making HSC a vibrant place to be for your Nationals.
HSC has put together a great support social programme for the Nationals and we hope something for all the family. Highlights include:
‘Welcome’ BBQ night
‘Sunny Hunny’ Fish and Chip Supper
10 Pin Bowling evening
BBQ and live band
Championship Prizegiving High Tea
Need a fantastic extra incentive? If you enter the Nationals by 14 July 2010 you will receive a LDC Racing Sailboats gift voucher redeemable against new sails - £50 redeemable against a RS700 mainsail, £40 redeemable against a RS700 spinnaker, or £100 against a full suit of RS700 sails.
