COACH FEEDBACK AND REQUEST TO FLEET FOR ACTION:
A productive time was had at Oxford Sailing Club last weekend. Five cheery sailors showed up for an intensive day of training. We focused on manoeuvres and boat set-up in the morning and did six short sprint races in the afternoon, followed up by some review of the footage attained. It was good to have a variety of experience attending the session as ideas/tricks of the trade were shared. From my point of view it is reassuring that we have sailors looking to attend events but who want to find their feet first. So please can everyone continue to upload GoPro footage cos it is very helpful to those learning who can’t get on the water as much as some of us!
